PUYP Communications Data Deletion

Pick Up Your Party uses PUYP Communications to help us respond to customer messages and provide rental-related customer service. If you have interacted with us through Facebook Messenger or another connected communication channel, you may request deletion of data associated with those interactions.

How to request deletion

1. Contact Pick Up Your Party using the contact information published on pickupyourparty.com and state that you are requesting deletion of data associated with PUYP Communications.
2. Include enough information for us to locate the correct record, such as your name and the email address, phone number, or Facebook/Messenger profile used to contact us. Please do not send passwords or sensitive account credentials.
3. We will verify the request as needed to avoid deleting another person’s information.
4. After verification, we will delete or de-identify eligible PUYP Communications records associated with the request, subject to information we must retain for legitimate business, accounting, fraud-prevention, legal, or regulatory purposes.

What may be deleted

Depending on the request and the records we hold, deletion may include communication history stored by PUYP Communications, channel identifiers used to match a conversation to a customer, contact-linking information, and related communication metadata.

What may be retained

Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary to complete or document a rental transaction, comply with tax or accounting requirements, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or meet other legal obligations. When appropriate, information may be de-identified instead of retained in identifiable form.

Facebook and other platforms

This page describes deletion of data controlled by Pick Up Your Party and stored through PUYP Communications. Facebook, Meta, Google, Twilio, and other communication providers may separately retain information under their own privacy policies and account settings. A request to Pick Up Your Party does not automatically delete information held independently by those providers.

Pick Up Your Party Facebook App

We respect your privacy and provide you the ability to request deletion of your data associated with our Facebook App.

How to Request Data Deletion

If you would like your data deleted, please follow one of these steps:

1. Through Facebook

   • Go to your Facebook Account Settings.

   • Select Apps and Websites.

   • Find Pick Up Your Party in the list of connected apps.

   • Click Remove.

   • This will delete all information the app has collected about you.

2. Direct Request to Us

   • Email us with the subject line: Data Deletion Request.

   • Please include your Facebook username and any details necessary for us to locate your account.

   • We will confirm and process your request within 7 business days.
